b18c1 80 mph 4000-4500 rpm?
4100rpms with 15's. trust me i drove 700 miles in the past week at 4krpm, and its on an ls, at least you have an extra 1000 rpms
do you have a b16 tranny?
my rpms are about that high, but i have a jdm b16 tranny, not a gsr. when i had a gsr, i was around 3400 rpms or so.

no everytthing is stock going at 80 MPH and my RPM at 4000 - 4500 is kinda weird for me...not used to it yet...before in my D series i was going at 80 MPH it was at 3500 i think..

yes thats normal. I have a LS with a b16 tranny and on the freeway my rmp reaches 4000-4500. At first i was wondering why it was so high then i later contact the guy where i bought the motor from and he told me it has a b16 tranny not a LS.

Just wait until 4400 RPM when VTEC engages - you want to talk about a hit in fuel economy . . .
