Default CRX HF??

ok yea yea get over it im a noob, anyway, i was wondering what makes a HF manifold so good for turbo? did the HFs come with turbo or did they just have a manifold built so that a turbo could be adapted too it?

nah they are just a good shape, just a randomly good turn of luck with the design. a hf manifold is just a good shape to be fabricated into it.

The HF manifold is much shorter/doesn't extend down far, leaving room for a turbo.

HF motor would be the last CRX motor you would want to boost.

If I get this right, the HF header is short, so when you put a turbo on it, itle help with clearences(radiator)

Yes you will still need to make or buy an adapter plate to mount a turbo. In my opinion unless you are going with a junkyard homemade setup (nothing wrong with that!) you should find yourself a turbo mani.

Hf mani is two peice when unbolted the top half is very short and leaves room for a turbo. Nothing special about it just a cheap way for turbo manifold.
