any one have any problems with 85mm sleeves ??

like with the head gasket or any other problems

 

Zero problems with 85mm. There is plenty of room between the cylinders to get gasket to seal.

Ditto. Ran my 85mm motor for 15k + miles. Many dyno passes and trips down the 1/4.

 

what kind of head gasket are you guys using??

 

Bored OEM.

 

Cometic with the forced induction ring.

 

How can you bore out a stock gasket?
And are you talking about a B18 gasket or a B20 gasket?

 

look at GE gaskets. THey are overbored stock

 

He's talking about overboring it from a b20, from 84mm to 85mm. but I'm just using cometic. -Jason

Im going 85mm too and I still havent got a gasket!

 

85mm is a good. I use Cometic gaskets and have zero problems.

 

stock 1 layer bored out to 85mm haven't had any problem
