do you happen to have any coolant or oil?
sorry for the dumb question, but i've read some really dumb stuff on here. (example: "i dropped a bolt into my head, and ive been driving around. its still perfectly fine")

1. check coolant level(what color is it? coffee color? milky?,etc)
2. check for big **** leaks
3. check if the fans are kicking in or not(beating the hell out of it in local street)
4. timing

Also it is possible that even though you changed the T-stat that its still the problem. I have seen brand new T-stats be defective. Not likely but still something to consider....

in matter of fact, the waxball size do vary a little bit especially if you get them at any place beside honda.
in other word, go with oem

just want to say thanks for the help, i will buy a new oem t-stat. fan does come on ,someone suggested the water pump what do u think?
You can check the water pump by pulling a hose and using a water hose to make sure the thing is pumping water. You can check the thermostat by removing it completely. If it still overheats it could be the radiator not flowing well. Again water hose will tell you if it is going through and slightly clogged. If all these systems seem to be working and it still overheats it is probably a head gasket. almost forgot it can be the radiator cap. Should be the first thing you replace as it is usuallly cheap.
