Tein vs. Eibach
TEIN the the love of all that's good and pure in this automotive world!
**** eibach springs, FUCKEM
too many stories(including my buddies ITR) of them sagging, and sitting with a stupid looking drop(high in the front low in the back).
Haven't heard anything bad about Tein.
But honestly, if you want to do it right,
get some full coilovers.

it depends what tein u r getting.
i hav koni yellows and kgmm race springs. they are good for the price if your not looking for adjustability. the ride feels somewhat like stock if not stiffer, but its tolerable. its nothing too crazy.

TEIN springs =
I've heard many stories about them sagging. Plus they only have a one year warranty.
Eibachs are guranteed for life. You know you are getting a quality product with them.

This is funny. Have you ever tested ANY Tein products? Do you have them on YOUR S2000?

tanabe has alwasy been pretty good when it comes to suspension.. . i had their coilovers on my civic back in the days and loved them.... but i dunno how they fair when it comes to the s2000
I had Tien HA's on my Ek9, and was not a fan for them. I had before that, a set of Bilstiens mated with Eibach ground control coils on an Em1 civic Si, and WOW, that was the best setup I ever had, or ever rode in a car with.
Tien= Overpriced, JDM hoo-pla. <-- from my experience
Get some Eibach's, you cant go wrong with them, especially with a quality strut like Bilstien or Koni.

i'm not even going to argue with you man... don't you work for eibach??
i'm only going off what I know and what i've heard.
i've heard only positive things about tein,
and I have experienced shittiness with eibach, plus heard enough stories
to burn me on them forever.
HOWEVER, remember i'm talking about the eibach drop springs, like their sportline/prokit products. NOT ERS, no personal experience with ERS's but i've heard nothing but good things about them.

i have only ever used eibachs and will again when i replace my s2000 i crashed. and since we are using all this "i heard this and that". i "heard" that tein in japan is like apc in the usa....well maybe not that bad but pretty bad

They aren't being mean. It's just dumb to claim that some product is the best thing ever, when you have no expirence with it.

well i have had my Tein's for about 2 weeks or so they are ok. They are stiffer than stock. I had some Ground Controls on my Integra with my GSR stock shocks and they did pretty well. So i guess its all depending on which line up of which company you choose. So if you want to pinch pennies go with Eibach and their Ground Controls but a full coilover is just better IMO. I really dont know if they (Eibach) make a full coilover system for the S. If they dont...laziness maybe ?!?! Broke? Too hard?!?! I dont know im just throwin **** out there.

i would think it would be like changing from a Stock spring to a basic coilover. Removing the 14mm nut, removing the perch, etc. etc.

??? i think i miss understood you in the first post....
i'm thinking about taking my flex coilovers apart, and swapping out the springs to a stiffer set.... that way i'll have a stiffer spring rate but still be able to use the flex dampers and edfc....
just wondering if that would be possible or even worth it... and how easy/hard it may be..
