ok i have a problem... i cant get the hood to lock down... the mechanism looks fine but i dont kno wats wrong with it.. maybe the springs?? any help wil be appreciated...

 

Try closing and opening the lock manually without actually closing the hood. You should be able to visually inspect it from there to find the problem.

 

well im sorta a honda newbie.. dont know how its suppose to work.. this is my first honda.. had a bmw before so i didnt have this problem to worry bout..
like if i close the hood.. theres two locks.. the first lock is when u put the hood down and its still open alittle.. the second lock is where it secured down...
im having problems with the second lock...

 

mine did the same thing i put some wd-40 on it and it worked for awhile
