Default ECU Loction for 6gen Accord (Already searched)

I serached and searched but cannot find the answer.

98 accord sedan 4cyl auto tranny:

can someone please point me where the ECU is located and steps to remove it etc. (diagram would be nice)

Look at the area between the front footrests.

There should be three or four screws holding it down. You need to unscrew them from both the passenger and driver side.

Need more details...i looked but did not find it....do i have to rip any carpet or platic...u r talking to novice here.

The carpet at the base of the center console by the firewall, you will need to pull the carpet back on both sides. There is a 10mm bolt holding it down on each side (drivers and Pass.) The plugs for it are on the pass. side. Take out the 2 bolts un-plug it and slide it out. YOur done.
