wtf is going on?
ok, i have a 95 accord ex 5sp, mods: CAI, header, exhaust, and wires. On really cold days, or just plain cold ones, my car idles high(around 2500 rpm) im pretty sure this is normal with these cars so im guessin thats ok. but, it will try to idle up higher than 2500 causing it to fall in a really annoying way. Try to picture it sounding like this (vrroom boomp vrooom boomp) i have no idea if my intake is messing with my fast idle valve or the IAC needs to be checked or somethin lik ethat. i have no idea what this is, and it has been doing it everytime its cold. somebody please help
Does your idle fluctuate? Like starts up at 2500 and then drops to about 1000? and then does the same process again? Cause if so that same thing happened to me last winter. I believe it was the Idle Enhancement Valve or something along those lines. It basically tells you when your car is warm. I had to replace it because it was corroded away.
