Default will stock sohc blaster coil work on dohc distributor?

can i take stock sohc blaster coil and put it in dohc ?

do you mean a stock coil or are you talking abotu the MSD blaster series of ignition coils?

i mean the stock blaster coil thats in the distributor

you mean the stock coil then, blaster is an MSD brand name. anyway from waht i have seen all honda internal coils are the same. i cant tell a dohc prelude one from a civic one if htey are istting side by side...i know this cause i got a few of them in my garage.

i'm using my cx coil in my b16 distributor right now. they're all the same with the same part number on the side. at least all the coils i have are. getting a new one from any parts store is going to run you an arm and a leg, thats what made me rip apart both of my distributors. good luck
