84-87 clear signal lenses
sorry rnr for stealing this off your board.. just thought some 1st gen folks on H-T might wanna try it too
If anyone is interested in clear crystal turn signal assemblies to replace those old orange ones in the bumper, try a sport truck shop, NOPI, Summit Racing, or JC Whitney, etc., and ask for a pair of clear bumper mounted turn signal assemblies for a 87 Toyota 2WD pickup truck. My brother-in-law totaled his lowrider and had one lense left. It looked the right size and fits just right. They are the same size and shape. I bought my pair at JC Whitney for about $27.00(U.S.). They have a clear crysal lense, chrome reflector, and orange bulbs. On a scale of 1-10 on install difficulty they are a 2. To install; 1) Remove old bumper turn signal housings, 2 screws each side, and disconnect plugs. 2)The new housings have plastic alignment tabs so either cut them off, or put some paint on the end of the tabs and hold the new assemlbly to the bumper mount and press to mark where to drill line up holes.3) then just splice the old connector to the new assy., plug in.4) If the screw holes are off a mm or two just pull the metal screw tabs in a hair.Mine lined up fine. Test, then have a fresh look. They look better and a little brighter.Enjoy

No problem, it's all about sharing right?
Anyway, if they are REAL first genners, they already know about the board, right? JK
How about clear corner lights?
