Another starter question (like no other)
My boy Mike has an EG hatch with a B16 in it. The motor has been in for about 4 months now and has never given him any kind of starting problems. Tonight he went to start the car the there was a "rapid" clicking coming form the starter seloniod. Not like the usual one click I hear when a starter is going bad. So, we push start the car and get to my house. I told him try to start the car again and it fired right up. We hang out for a lil bit then he goes to leave and it makes the same "rapid" sound. I put a load tester on the battery and checked the water to see if it was boiling under a load and there was nothing. So we replace the starter with another B16 starter that I had laying around and the same thing happens.
I have checked all the grounds and fuses.
My question is, why all of a sudden? What could it be?
I have been having starter problems also in my 91 CRX si with a B16. My problem is pissin me off and I have given up on trying to figure it out.
My car will start fine for 5 days straight then start giving me **** but just clicking when I go to start it. It takes like 5 to 15 clicks before it starts. I have been through 4 starters (2 OEM) checked all grounds and everything. Tested all the lines to see if they are gettin the correct volts.
The weird thing is, my boy with a CRX HF with a ZC in it has the same problems I have. Its like the Honda gods are haunting us with these lame *** starter problems.
Well, any kinds of suggestions or ideas will be aprreciated.
Im really gettin pissed off at this.

take the car to autozone, haven hook it up to the charging system analyzer. it sounds like a charging problem, it could be the alternator, battery, or the starter. but it will most likely be the battery, i had this happen to me too many times
