i have a b16 and whenever u depress the clutch it makes a squeeking sound.....it still seems to drives good but clutch is making funny noise...any one no what it is?

 

could be a few things, is this a cable or hydrolic transmission?

Sounds like the throwout bearing to me. Mine made a similar sound (like a belt) and when I swapped trannies the throwout bearing was broke and fell apart.

 

Had that happen to me. I just greased the end of the cable

 

i know this thread is old but i got the same problem. i got a hydro lsd gsr swap. what do i need to do exactly to get rid of this problem. thanks

Mine did the same thing, I sprayed PBblaster around the pedal area and it took care of the problem (might have been the spring). I had greased the end of the cable previously, but that didn't work.

 

That squeek noise is usually the whole spring assembly on the pedal. Just hit with with some wd-40 and it should clear up.

 

lmao, back when i was a rookie! Sometimes its funny to look at your posts from years ago. I remembered seeing a post by jeff evans trying to figure how to tune on an afc. Lol, good times.
