I was wondering whats the deal with everyone going so crazy over the K20? I mean even my best frined who is a chick is all about it. Whats the deal with them I think that B series is the best way to go if u want all motor...What about you guys?

 

Because they put out 200WHP with Hondata reflash and bolt ons. Hytech's 13:1 K20 put out 320HP....you know of many B-series that do that? They are simply better engineered motors, and have more potential than the B-series. DOHC VTEC is 80's technology and hunting for more power out of B-series is becoming increasingly more difficult.

 

Its the k20 duh.. only people that get are people who arent afraid to spend their money.

They say the K20 is going to be the next big thing, like the B series was. They respond better to bolt ons, they are making sick power right out of the box (especially the R motor). I sold my JDM B18C Type R Civic Hatch to make room for a K20 EG pretty soon. It's just something fresh and new, and so far it's holding up to the hype. The swaps are still expensive, but they are putting up sick numbers. Read up!

What does it have to do w/ being a tiny person? And yes I think your wrong if you tell her that the B series is better, because thats a lie. I dont think you like the idea of a chick w/ a K20. Tell her the truth, she'll get the K20, blow your doors off, and she'll get out and say WHAAAAAAT! like lil' john.

K series are the new B series. Why? More are being produced. More hp DOHC I-VTEC 160 is the lowest engine being produced. Crazy *** Frank swaps DOHC 2.4 liter CRV motors. Engine management companies are making maps around these new engines.

Being that they are 6 grand, I don't think you have much of a choice. A stock K20 RSX-S motor will be on par with, if not a bit slower than a B18C5 IMHO.

how much roughly will it cost to have a up and running k20 in a eg/dc/ek???

 

ummm good question we have done alot of searching and it depends on how u want to bulid it...like she wants the toda package for the k20 so i mean she wants to do this right....and wants to stand out i think...

 

i think its gonna run her over 7000 to get everything in and running right

 

something like that and she wants like toda package you know the value springs and all those goodies...she to do this right....i mean spoon lip duckbills and i mean this car is going to be sick when its done...
