Anybody mountain race there Civic?
I have just found a mountain road in my area and I can not stay off of it. I love it, does anybody have any ideas on how to make my car not have a ton of understeer? If anybody was wondering I am in the So-Cal area and the road I drive is called Decker Canyon rd. do you know any others in my area?
Thanks for letting us know exactly which canyon it is.....That way we don't get killed by some ******* doing CaNYoN RuNz yO! Maybe someone here will drop a line to CHP and let them know what canyon to patrol.....

Yes, it's called Willow Springs raceway and Button Willow raceway!
Take a look here.

Next track event is 110 for the entire day. Much cheaper than a ticket, and I promise there wont be any CHP patroling this track!
Try coming to a trackday, and you wont want to go "canyon running" anymore!

I can see the allure of "canyon running," I'm just troubled by that whole "endangering the lives of others" issue. If you can withstand the savageness of those in this forum who now hate you and will not hesitate to say so, you might find enough information here to make your way to a local track and really learn how to drive.

Ok, here you go. I have raced that cyn under SCCA in the monthly road rally. It is nice to get out and do that stuff, but you need to be in a controlled enviroment. And what year civic do you have. There is alot of things that can be done to make your *** end rotate enough to make clean passes, but you need to maybe practice at SOLO2 not at Decker cyn.
