Default Whats a good Quiet exhaust?

Something not loud at idle but sound's not to loud when you rev it. I want it to sound like stock but with a little deep note when you gas it. And it has to be 2.5 inch please.

So you're just looking for "better" sound? I think you can just get a different muffler to achieve that.

I would have to vouch for the Apexi WS2, I have it even with out the cat, sounds wonderful. It is very quiet, the best thing it doesn't get louder the harder you drive it, at high RPM's the engine noise is greater from inside which I love

Look into the DC Sports oval. It's a 2.25 exhaust like the stock exhaust, but with the bottlenecks removed. I have a used one for sale if you are interested.

I can certainly recommend SMSP 2.5" exhausts if you have the time to get it.

He designed mine so that it dynos very well, but it looks completely stock from outside the car and is really quite reasonably quiet.

It's noisy enough inside the car that you'll worry about it until you hear somebody drive your own car past you on the track...then you'll realise it's not very noisy at all from outside the car.

Not the Thermal 3" exhaust. Speaking from experience.

This is (TypeR0186) how about this combo..........

magnaflow muffler
3inch inlet. 7inch long tip. they dont have a 2.5in inlet

And kteller 2.5in exhaust pipe kit and 14in Resonators and Carsound HF cat

I can't keep stock exhaust because i sold it wit the motor. plus it's not a 2.5in.
This is why i sold the motor.....

I rock the T1R and it's a loud exhaust. The tone is deep and nice(not raspy)but when you get on it it's a screamer. I have only heard the TL through sound clips on here and T1R is louder by quite a bit at WOT.

Free = Stock

Some average $$$ = Fujitsubo but it's not true 2 1/2"

You could also look into the Kakimoto-R but it's kinda big and blingy lookin.

I think your best bet would be the SMSP or even Hytech for the diameter and sound level you desire.

FYI, Heres in interesting comparison of the SMSP and Hytech headers I just stumbled upon:
