Default Fuel Pump in 1987 Civic Si Hatchback

My fuel pump makes noise bad. I'm sure it's about to die. What would be a good replacement for a 1987 Civic? I want something cheap, but i'm also going to be running nitrous so I want something that will flow good. I have a Walbro 255lpa in my 240sx, do they make those for Hondas? I got it for like $90 bux.

Also, what about a fuel cell? A little 7 gallon fuel cell will enable me to still drive around normally, but i'd have a lot less weight? Anyone ever do that? Is it legal (Cali)? Is it stupid?

umm as for pump just get an OEM or OEM replacement, even with the nitrous it's an 87 Si... it's not going to be starved, trust me the stock pump will do a fine job, even if you got a stronger pump, the system can't take it anyway. It'd be a waste.

It's also not the best idea to juice that poor 12 valve engine. How much are you looking to pump it? Not a wonderful idea IMO. It's no 240 when it comes to it's ability to handle that stuff.

As for the fuel cell...

Once again, not worth it.
