hey guys i just recently put a new balancer shaft belt on my h22 eg and it makes a winding noice almost like it is supercharged somewhat i was woundering how long will it be like this and.......ive also heard u can just remove the balancer shaft belt on h22a and have no problem can someone please elaborate on this i also have hasport mounts so idle isnt that great now what will i expect? need info dont want to screw anything up
sounds like you got the belt on there too tight. those things don't like a whole lot of tension. loosen it up, and just go by factory procedure. the belt is gonna SEEM loose after doing it, but trust me. honda knows.
for info on how to do it, get a service manual.

maybe rubbng the cover? and also u have to line up both the front and the rear balance shaft, theres a prosedure to do it
no it is to tight ...dont put any tension on it when you tighten it ..just has to be firm ...like above it will almost seem loose but that how it is ...the spring should make it as tight as it has to be

Yes you can just leave the belt off. It frees up an hp or two if you dont mind a slight vibration. If you have stiff mounts or anytype of insert you wont even notice
If you leave it on.. make sure you are not holding the balancer tensioner when you thighten the 14 mm. Hope this helps
