DIY Blue clock
Alright I saw someone try to create a DIY blue clock atricle, however it was terrible. So I thought the only honarable thing to do is to create a true DIY. So here goes.
Pop out the clock and unplug it. Using a flat head screwdriver take off the brass colored retaining clips. Pull the two halves apart gently. Do not pull hard! There are wires going to the buttons, so be careful. Once it's open you will see a large piece of green/blue plastic in the shape of a wedge. Remove that piece and set it aside in case you do not like the end result. Next take an old CD Jewel case and cut a large rectagle out of it. (Go slow and the plastic won't crack. if the cracks are small, you'll be all right.) Test fit the plastic in the clock. Next using a blue sharpee (the large poster sized ones work great) give the plastic rectangle you cut two coats. After letting it dry, put the plastic rectangle into the clock and reassemble using the brass retaining clips. Pop the clock back in and your done. No green/turquoise what so ever! Just blue! It's as bright as stock.

sorry my digital camera battery is dead. I'm trying to order one so it will be here in a week or so. My brother was very impressed. There is no green tint what so ever. Looks just like blue LEDS. If you don't like it, the piece of plastic can be taken out and retuned to regular in seconds.
