Default headlight issue.....think i'm screwed....

my headlights are horribly mis-aligned. the bolt (that you can't use a socket for as it's round) to adjust these is stripped. i'm blind in the dark for the most part. anything i can do to get these headlights aligned? Feels like I"m trying to put a spotlight on the moon for some reason!

If not -- anyone have a suggestion for the brightest headlights on earth? that may help somewhat.

HID's are great, but if the headlights are pointed up in the air it's basically useless. I think there's somekind of tool you can use to remove stripped bolts. I think they can be removed and if so the bolts can be replaced with new one's at which time you can align them. I don't know what the tool is though. Go to your local dealer and see if anything can be done.

Sears has a socket that you put over a stripped bolt and it cuts into the bolt allowing you to remove it and replace it. A good set to invest in. Or if you have some vise grips that can get to it you could try tightening them down as much as possible and go from there.
