simple question. sway bars, sprung weight or sunsprung weight?
i was just curious i put some sus. tech. sway bars on. btw they are way heavier. the bars brackets are on the body which is held up by springs, but the ends are on the suspension, which is underthe springs. so is this a trick question? hell if i know.

This is simple-only those parts that are on the ends of the uprights are unspring. Thus the sway bars are spring weight and the brakes and wheels are unspring.
assuming the weight is in stiffer sidewalls, I'd put up w/ the weight. It's all about the corners.
Besides, they'll be really light when they're bald
But yea, if you're all about the power/weight it would be adding all of the weight to the outermost part of you wheel. Worst part of the wheel to put weight torque defeating wise (more force needed to rotate compared to 3lbs closer to the center)... something like that, kinda cracked out. Basically if you had to add 3 lbs, the closer to center of the wheel it is the less torque robbing it is. Ok, this won't make an ounce of sense in the morning
