Dumb starter bolt up question.....
Ok not gettin much help on my other thread so i'll narrow it down a bit. I did a b16 swap this weekend and it wont crank or turn over. I turn the key to accessory and the pr3 ecu blinks 1 time. The starter is not clicking. For the bolts to bolt the starter to the tranny/block I used the stock upper bolt and the bolt thats about 7 inches long I had to use a different one and i put a rubber spacer between the bolt/washer and spacer to make the bolt work. Is there some sort of ground i messed up by doing this? Also I have a relocated battery to the hatch and I have the power wire right on the starter and also a wire from the underhood fuse box to the starter is this right??

Sounds like you wired it in series and not in parallel. My battery is in the back. Here's how i wired mine. 12v is fed to a distribution block (2 gage in), one wire goes to the starter (4 gage out), and another wire to the fusebox (4 gage out). I bet your starter is not receiving enough voltage.
Did you install a fuse near the battery?

Is the starter just clicking or not doing squat? did u remimber the "control" wire that comes from the ign. swich?
alsothe tranny needs to be grounded along with the engine. found that out the hard way
. also make sure ur getting at leest >200 amps.
EDIT: DAMNIT WHY DO I ALLWAYS GET BETEAN TO THE FIRST POST!!???

If the batter is in the hatch and I have a 4 gauge wire running all the way to the engine bay does this power wire need to be spliced...1 to the fuse box and 2 to the starter??

yes. use 4 gauge in 6 gauge to starter and 10 or 8 gauge to fuse box
also with the big wire hooked up to the starter run ajumper wire from the big wire to a tiny spayed (?) termanal right under it on the small part of the starter. thats ur control if the starter turns over the car then the starter and grounds are fine
EDIT: if the battery is in the hatch have a good ground like 4 gauge to the spare tire lug then have a bout a 4-6 gauge going to the tranny from the body. as far as i know any bare mettal will work on the trany for your ground
