Default Help!!! Car won't start

I'm having problems starting my car. When I crank it, it feels like it starts for about a second, and even as I still have the key turned, it dies out. My friend suggested that it's a bad ignition switch. Anyone else have any ideas? I already changed the starter about a month ago, so I don't think that's the problem...

When you turn the key to the "ON" position- do you hear the fuel pump pressurizing? It sounds like a whine then a click when its finished- It could be that or the pump relay

I'd say throw some starting fluid in the TB and if it starts for just a little bit, you've got a fuel problem- If it just keeps turning, you might want to check your ignition- usually at the coil

Let me know if this helps

Well, I don't seem to have that problem anymore.

Now, sometimes my car won't start. It seems to be random. When I turn the key, nothing happens. I think the fuel pump is fine. I had it changed over the summer, and I can hear it every time. The battery should be fine since I just got a new one. When I check it with a meter, it's always at least 12V. And like I said before, my starter is new. The weird thing is that when I use another car to jumpstart it, it comes up just fine.

And my car is a CRX with a GSR swap. I also have an MSD ignition in it.
