Has Anyone Recently Had PnP Headwork From JG Engine Dynamics? Checking To See If U Were Pleased????
Sup H-T
Just like the topic says folks............
Has anyone recently had headwork done with JG for All Motor app. And looking to see if you are pleased with the work.
I know he puts out some killer parts on the market but just thought I would ask about his recent headwork if its up to what u guys expected.
I'm looking to get my GSR head done through him or PORTFLOW.
Just some thoughts and comments on your experience.
Peace

if you have javier do it personally it is good but if just one of his guys do it then I would not trust it. Tom at portflow is more consistent with his work. another person you might look into that is local is dave rebello at rebello racing.
As for JG i was actually going to request hom personally to do my headwork.
I made some purchases from Javier recently and I have his Pro Series springs & retainers and soon to get his Pro Series valves at a great price and he gave me a real good quote that's too good too pass up.
I know Portflow's work is excellent and really consistent that's why I have him on my list but the reason why I asked if anyone has recently had headwork through JG is cause of that excellent price he gave me for the work and I was actually looking for some of his recent headwork.
I guess u gotta make sure he does the work then instead of his NOOBS making practice time on my ****!
LOL
But I'd still like to hear about his recent work if anyone has some.
As for Rebello racing I have not heard of that name in a long time!
He did a fully built long block on my friends 85 nissan pickup with dual webbers on it and holy **** that truck was quick!.
13.1 all motor and 80 shot direct port went 12.0's on drag radials.
Well anyways has Rebello done a lot of Honda Heads?
Thanx for the input
Btw.......I'm looking to get me a set of those samco hoses from ya!

javier in my opinion knows his stuff and does good work as I have seen his personal work on some people I know own cars. as for his flunkies doing it. I have seen those and those made his name go bad in the honda scene. TOM at Portflow does good work and has good customer service and that is rare in the parts biz. rebello is good and he has done honda heads but for more road racers. I just had a Lseries motor done from him for a good price for a buddy of mine.
Yeah that's what I hear about Tom@Portflow
Great customer service.
When I hear about Tom's work I hear nothing but excellent things on it.
Javier himself has excellent customer service aswell.
When I call and talk to him personally he is more than helpfull and gives good pointers.
But if I do have JG's headwork done its got to be him who does it forsure.
I have heard some bad **** in the past with JG's **** but it's got to be people working under him.

yeah I had a friend who got a head from them and it was weak. must of been his flunky. I had to resurface it as it was warped and it did not really help much in the hp making area. this one I know for sure was not from him cause i have seen good ones done from him and no issues and makes power. just for me I try to have local guys do work for me or don't do at all. that is why I mentioned rebello

I currently have my motor over there (D16Z6) and it's in the final stages of dynoing as we speak. Javier is a hellofa guy, i have delt with him for several years now and nothing but good quality work for him.
Javier is going to be building the head for my all motor race car this year and i have no doubt that his work will make power. the motor we were running last year had an alaniz head and it ran awesome. as long as you have the right engine combination, anyone of these guys can build a good head..... you should also give dan @ DPR a call..... he knows his stuff when i comes to head building.
I reccomend him.. his cams.. hies head.. his everything..... very affordable.
my whole setup is done by him
the Intake manifold was done by him.. Javiers says.. hes put extra time into it..because it was used on the B-series shootout. that manifold is mine along with the RC 440 injectors and bored throttle body..all worked by him.
My motor is currently sitting at JGs shop... hes helped me a lot.
i pulled off the Intake manifold at his shop and witnessed the head... sure enough it was his B16 redline series that competed.. made 259hp at the shoot out .. pretty badass.. making numbers as close at his competitors with his mild (starters) setup.
by the way.. his head work is CNC.. so.. dont worry about..who is doing it.
