Code 16-fuel injectors....WTF!!!! Car was running fine then I run into a gas station and my car barely starts and BOOM. A big fat CEL pops up and the car idles like its about to die. It runs, barely, but it does. So now its parked.

This is my friend discription to me. Its a 1991 4dr. LX all stock with 110k. I posted for him a few days ago becuase it burnt up all his oil but now its holding it and his oil light is still on along with the CEL.

But what are some things he can check for with the fuel injector problem? Throw some injector cleaner in there? Does Seafoam clean the injectors too? Please help us out becuase now I have to give him rides to work .

 

my 89 hatch did that but it was the distributor.....the ignitor was shot
