hi guys heres the deal, i bought my rex 4 years ago and it came with vracing buzz seats that dont recline, dont adjust, dont have any padding.. they are horrible and i cant take it anymore lol... i picked up a set of 99si seats but they were too TALL and almost too wide also, as far as tracks i can custom fab a set but WHAT SEATS WONT SIT ME TO HIGH AND MAKE MY HEAD HIT THE CEILING!!?!?

Stock CRX DX/Si seats sit low and are comfortable. The issue is finding a set that doesn't have ragged and smashed side bolsters.
You may also want to look into del Sol seats. They also sit pretty low.

i really enjoy the crx seats.... they were made for the car so they sit perfect and in my opinion they are pretty functional and comfortable. Perfect for a daily driver.
I'm 6'2" and have NO headroom in my 91 CRX Si. I know that with the sunroof you loose some headroom. I like to drive with the seat 1 click from vertical.
So what aftermarket seats have a lower bottom profile that fit the CRX good?

if my vracings were any good id keep them caus as far as low bottom they have nothing, its like sitting on the floor... any other seats like that, but for EVERYSINGLEDAYDAILY driving LOTSA PADDING

i have 90 crx seats(cant sell sorry) im 6'3 dont have any problem with head room and the seat isnt reclined to much either
i got ls integra seats in my crx comfortable as hell and has a lumber support! But all will be lost soon time to mount up the sparcos that have been sitting for a year.
I have an extra set of those for my 89 CRX. They had to be welded up on the bottem to bolt in though. They also sit a touch higher than the stock Si seats which takes away a bit of headroom.

No and no.
You will have to either do some fabrication, or drill new holes.

i dunno if this has ever been discussed as well, but have any of you guys repaired you're seats? I <3 my crx seats but I have a ripped bolster and I hate it. I almost swapped in my integra seats but those suck compared to my crx ones.
I dun mean to thread jack lol, I just didn't wanna create a whole nother post if this has been discussed 324923049509 times

Yes...here are mine...

I done this to my previous rex without welding. The ones in the pictures are from my current rex and the previous owner was the one who showed me how to swap the seats in. He on the other hand measured and welded till the seat back was where he wanted it.
If you don't measure and weld, the seat back doesn't come forward as much, but it didn't bother me in my other rex.
Sorry about the pics...they're the only ones I have as of now.
BTW - I believe 94 and up gsr seats will work...I used 99 seats in my previous rex, and I believe the ones in my rex now are the 97 gsr seats...
