hmmm well it doesn't make that much of difference but if you absolutley need to drive it. No more then 5 days...then get the exhaust back on. shouldn't be that bad i guess. not a grand idea though.

I did that for like 2 days after my b16swap, until the shop could get me in for the custom pipes. I dont think it hurt anything, but i pulled over twice for it.

i was messin around with my downpipe and kinda got it in there, you think it would fit? (comes kinda close there) .

i found this bolt on the block, that i think if i take it off will give me that inch or two i need to have it bolted on, what do you think?
(bolt, shitt pic sry)

so you think this will work????

Edit: oh yeah i just looked at my "cambelt?" (idk if thats the name my dad said it was) and its kinda torn. theres some rips on it, you think it will hold for those 5days?

cambelt...sounds like a timing belt.

prolly dont wanna be driving around if thats torn up. if it breaks, your car is not goin anywhere. (except on a towtruck).

get a new one, it couldnt hurt anything.

If you timming belt is torn think about this way.. Would you rather spend $80 on a new timming belt now or have the chance of it breaking and you then and up buying new valves to go along with the belt.

HAHA, I had to drive my car like that for about 50 miles from DNR's shop in Hayward... I have a B18 and it sounded like a Harley or something. I wouldn't drive it like that for too long.
