That's chrome paint. There's a thread about the same thing on an M3 with that paintjob.

Thanks. You can PM SlowWhiteS2K for some badass shots of glowing rotors and flames. I didn't figure out the right camera settings until Sunday so I didn't get any good night shots of the JGTC cars.

Does anybody agree with me that the "Priv'ee Zurich" NSX was the coolest sounding car on the grid (to bad it was also one of the slowest )?

I thought it sounded very different from the other NSX's too! It had a more of a high-pitched F1-ish engine note to it. Sounded cool, but yeah, it was slow compared to the other NSXs.

The Privee Zurich NSX is one of the two GT300 NSX's. I was told its motor is built by TODA . The other 300 NSX being the series championship, pimp-*** gold NSX fielded by the M-Tec (Mugen ) team. All of the other NSX's are GT500 class cars running with turbos.

 

It still amazes me how tightly wound that motor sounded [/replays video clips]. The M-Tec car sounded more similar to the turbo cars...
