Default HOP & HAMP

Honda Original Parts

Honda After Market Parts

Don't want to bring up the oil filter debate again, but I found this as I was poking around the jdm honda site. ( http://www.honda.co.jp/parts/index.html ) Just thought it was interesting.

Now I'm not sure if quality is any less w/ HAMP, but it does say that HAMP is "to bring the cost of maintenance down"

yoshi - who found lots more info in the HOP section

I was told, and always thought, that HAMP was a better product than OEM...

cost of maintenance for the owner of the car...which i take as providing a better filter....from the way it filters my oil...i could probably go 3 oil changes before replacing...

I got a picture of that little guy on one of my parts labels a couple of years ago. That's a cool avatar B2finity.
