I was just cruising home from work, trying to change CD's, then all of a sudden, BAM!! I looked back, and it looked like I hit a big piece of a semi tire or something. I felt it hit the bottom of my bumper, bounce along the bottom of my car, and out the back. I was sooo pissed, and was more pissed when I got home and saw this:





Not a scratch on my car, till this... I hope nothing on the underside was damaged.

 

Be thankful it didn't hit your windshield to make you lose control and die.

Happened to me in the GSR back in the day.....was pissed then, but what can you do....oh well, the first weekend I owned the R, me and Prescient R were heading to a meet and his windshield trim falls off and gashes the front end of my poor type R

 

C'mon, I know all of you had your panties in a twist after your first "incidents" with your cars.

Not super pissed, but still sucks. I'm just hoping nothing else was damaged. It really did clank through the bottomside of my car pretty bad. I'll be checking for damages in the light of day tomorrow.

 

i'm sure nothing was damaged and you're lucky you own a white car! black cars, everything shows!!!

I feel your pain man. It sucks to have something like that happen to your car when you try so hard to keep her safe.

I BOUGHT my car off the dealer lot with no front emblem, and a big screwdriver hole in the plastic of the bumper where they pried it off. Hehehe

But yeah, in less than a year I put the thing into a tire wall. That pissed me off. Since then, I stopped giving a Fart.

Sometimes if a truck drivers negligence causes your vehicle cosmetic damage, call the number on the truck and report them.

I had a truck drop a few small pebbles/rocks on the road and kicked up and cracked the **** out of my winshield before. The rocks in the bed of his truck were almost overflowing. I called the company # listed on the truck, gave them the license plate number and bitched at them. They paid for my winshield.

Also a much truck (also too full with mulch) dropped some **** on the road a few months back and whacked into my TL and tore like a chunk of the paint off on the fender....really weird. I did the same thing, and they paid to have it repaired.

back end came out after leaving a friends house on a sandy road hit some bumps and got owned so she is no longer a beauty queen anymore. sucks but **** it .. cant let little blemishes like yours or mine get to you.. coudla been worse could totalled it or even got stolen... i am just thankful i still have an R to ***** around.

I hate semi's personally, I've had a tire pop off right in front of me and slammed into the front end and down the passenger door, leaving dents and tire marks. Then like a week after i got my jdm Front the same damn thing happens, this which broke my c-west lip. Yea i have bad luck when it comes to semis

Well, they musty have a covered/secured load to be legal to drive on the road. As for tires though, its cheaper for companys to retread their tires(they actually add another ring treads onto the worn tires to save $$) and the old treads wear out and are left on the highway. Stupid i know, but theres nothing you can do about it.

My car has a driver side door that doesn't match for ****, damage on the driver side rear quarter panel, damage on the passenger side front bumper and someone helped themselves to the front lip. **** happens.

 

It sucks, but what can you do. Nobody likes them, but its part of driving on open roads.

yeah... haha... nobody's seen my front end since this summer... bra's hiding some nasssssty battle scars... zip ties do wonders to keep body panels on. i think everyone has their own scars
