Default CAI coating question.

I have a cheapy ebay intake on the way and im not a fan of chrome. Ive considered getting it rhino-lined. has anyone done this or know what coatings will preventing the pipe from getting too warm? or is metal the best option for inside the engine bay?

thanks
scott.

Default Re: CAI coating question. (tweakit)

I went to autozone and bought some primer and ceramic paint good up to 500 deg.
My intake is much cooler to the touch. The paint acts as an insulator and does a good job at keeping the heat out.
