the LSD may or may not be a bad idea. If you have fun right now with the car, why mess with a good thing?
however, i will strongly suggest that you stay out of the canyons, or at the very least keep canyon run mention out of this forum, since we, as a forum are the least tolerant of things like that.
driving fast is great. but driving fast on public roads with no corner workers, oncoming traffic, and god knows what kind of debris is asking for it. Open lapping can be had for such reasonable prices (redlinetrackevents.com, speedventures.net, digitalracer.com), and is so much more fun than canyon running that there's hardly an excuse to run around up there.

Problem is, there's a point to Forum organization. You entered into the Road Racing/Autocross forum, where the questions SHOULD revolve around such. Yours did not. While this forum does contain substantial suspension expertise, most of the participants are not keen on encouraging irresponsible behavior on public roads, which is what you are doing.
Man, why did I just waste my time with this?

sure, and most folks can redily answer these types of questions for environments they are familiar. Fortunately, a scant few here know what type of suspension or diff is required for canyon runs so you are probably in the wrong place for what you are looking for. I would look around some Japanese sites and see what you can find - seems much more popular there. Around this forum, if you get into auto-x or road courses, there will be plenty of folks that will be able to help you out.

that was such a naive statement. do you believe that everyone in the world follows the speed limit? do all of you always drive safely on public roads all the time, i highly doubt it. but if im gonna do this id rather better my chances

classic! everyone one of you say the same damn thing!
with this kind of logic, since everyone has done something wrong or made a bad decision, you too can do drugs, speed, steal, kill, whatever with complete immunity from your peers cause at least one of them has done something similar too. try that defense in court after you kill mom and her two kids on their way home from soccer practice.

What the **** do we look like? Your own private ******* brain trust? What's the forum title? Does it say "Irreverent Jerks Wanted. Inquire Within."? Well, does it? No. We're not here to mentally ********** you at your whim. Your "question" is out of context here, as are you.

<yawn>
Its gotten old.
OK buddy. Heres the deal...
You're a moron, and you're going to do whatever you want to do regardless of what anybody says. So I suggest spending HUGE amounts of money on your car and driving it as fast as you can on the most dangerous roads you can find. Make sure you bolt one of those little chrome fire extinguishers to your A pillar at right about eye level too. That'll help speed things up.
Hopefully, you'll kill yourself early and not take anyone else with you. Then we can move on to the next ignorant "everybody does it" ********.
Scott, who will cut and paste this answer to all of these threads from now on.

And all you dickwads can defend it with is the same old retoric,
So I agree with Catch, please buy and lsd it will help you go faster, in fact to make your car handle better, put about 1000lbs springso on the rear and an ITR sway bar, run a stock one up front and about 600lbs sprints, the car will handle
like a dream, and hopfully when you wreck you only hurt yourself and dont leave your buddy in the back seat dieing and being burnt to a crisp, like what happen in a recent toogay accident.
