I was thinking about getting one on ebay since there pretty cheap. I believe there just skunk cams knockoffs. Exact same duration and lift numbers.

there was a thread where a guy dynoed them both - and they were exactly the same performance wise. The only question now is if the steel that they're made from (which is harder than the rocker arms) is going to trash the rocker arms - my bet is, over time....yep.

I'd grab some Crower cams, they're only like $385-400 *shrugs*.

Check out Matix's thread responses on the obx cams that are in this forum (search obx cams in the "all motor" forum).

He has put over 2,500 miles on his in his H22, and just dynoed with them and made 209whp/159wtq. Stage 1's as well.

He's had absolutely no issues with them, or wear.

I can test the metal in the lab. If someone is willing to scrap off a piece of metal a size of a grain of sand from each camshaft. The sample should not be contaminated. Send it to me, I will test the two metal in a laboratory setting. I will test for the hardness and the melting point.
