Default Heat Controls not working........

OK i have a 93 ex coupe that i just picked up and i have figured out that the 1,2 speeds of the climate control are not working. only speeds 3,4 are working. Anyone think this can be corrected by replacing the climate unit or it may be something else? Any ides, thanks.

- bad switch
- bad wiring
- bad resistor (bolted to the blower motor)

It's probably the resistor. It's a simple fix, just two screws.

I would check the heater control first. I think that would be easier.

Just do it from simplest to hardest.

the resistor has gone most likely. Thats a common effect is only having like 2 speeds on the blower.

bad resistor. it is mandated by federal law to default to high so you will always have a defrost for driving.
