Default Front Bumper problems

How do I get my front bumper cover off of my 91 CRX DX? I have to replace the engine, and I don't have a hoist, so I have to rip apart the whole front end, but this bumper is a lot different than my 89 hatch SI car, any help is Greatly Loved!

Did you undo the bolts behind the fog lights?

they should be the same.why wont they come out? its only 2 screws per light and push on it from the back.you could just make a hoist.its really not all the difficuly.a couple of 2 by fors and some heavy chains ang your good.or if you dont want to be ghetto about it go to auto zone and rent one.

After you unscrew then use a flat head to pry them out.

I cant imagine that its really that different from the Si bumper. Perhaps I'm wrong but I cant see Honda engineering an entire new bumper and mounting system for the Si...

I'm looking up drawings for you right now...

On the CRX's there are 4 or 5 bolts at the top near the radiator ,1 under the tag holder in the back, 1 under the corner lenses on each side( remove the corner lenses) and 2 screws on each side of the wheel well.

Dude you are gonna rip off the whole front end to take out the motor? hahah. Man just go rent a hoist or drop the motor out the bottom of the car

ok, engine is gonna come out through the bottom, and I won't have to worry about denting my fenders, they're screwed anyway
