Default what sensor is this?

i have a 95 gsr head and its next to the water temp sensor?? its black and has two pins in it , also there is a sensor on the thermo housing , is that the fan switch???

ECT or TW (coolant temp sensor) it is for the ecu's reference

so the one by the vtec oil pressure switch is for the ecu's reference? whats the one on the thermostat housing?

The one on the thermo housing is the thermo switch.. Its just a temp controlled relay, when the circuit is completed the fans turn on..

oh ok so the one on thermo is fan switch and the lil 2pin sensor by the oil pressure switch is the coolant temp for ecu not the cluster?

???? The obd0 motor had the thermo switch on the back of the motor and obd1+ has it on the thermostat housing.. Are you using a obd1 thermostat housing on an obd0 motor?
