PIR Jan 8/9....whose planning on running?
Hi All,
We only have a couple of weeks or so till PIR....Whose is planning on running?
I ran with the SCCA on 12/4 in some very heavy rain taking second overall in my run group after qualifying pole... I just couldn't see... due to the fog on the inside of the windshield and had to slow a bit. They actually cancelled the rest of the afternoons races due to poor track conditions.
I'm looking forward to PIR I think all of my "little" issues are sorted!

More then likely I will be out there with a few other RSX's. I will try and do both days, but for sure I will be there on saturday. Prices went up like 20 bucks I realized. Oh well I been wanting to try PIR track.
I'll be there on Sunday....going to try to squeeze in a half day in on Saturday morning since I have a wedding to go to that afternoon/evening.

We'll see if can get take my car apart and put it back together in time. I want to get the new motor in so I can be H4 legal. If not, maybe I'll leave the ZC in and just do HPDE4 or run H1 just to get the experience.
Paul - do you know if it would be a problem for me to run H1 in Jan w/ the ZC and then H4 after I get my motor in? I was just wondering about the annual inspection and stuff. Would it be a better idea to just wait until I have the H4 motor in to join race group? Hopefully (with a little help from Travis and Jon) I'll have it done in time, but we'll see. I still don't even have the pieces of the new motor from the machine shop and they're saying it won't be done until next week. That's cutting it pretty close considering I was planning on doing the assembly of the motor and the swap myself.

I'm getting there Saturday evening for the Sunday race. I'm flying back from Cleveland that Friday night and I won't even get back to Tucson until late Saturday morning.
Definitely planning on going both days. Hoping to pass tech and join H4.
Paul, do annual inspections take place at the track or do we need to make an appointment somewhere?

I would also highly recommend DOT 4+ brake fluid and a spare set of pads.

Not this time:
No job = no $$$ = no race
Might come out to watch or work. I'll have to check with Joe, but I guess if I work a couple of weekends I can earn an entrance.
Good luck guys, have fun and be safe.

Here's link to site that has recent article regarding AMP reapplying for it's use permit. I think it was in the "other motorsports" forum???

I think we were very lucky to have the cover for free in the past....garage space at most of the tracks is at a premium!
I am looking for someone to help out taking a few digital pictures of the HC cars during the races for the HC website.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,

Thanks,
I'll gladly pay for garage space for the weekend...it's a benefit we have not had to pay for in the past, and Paul is right, many tracks charge A LOT more to have that space.
