I like, but what is up with the tint? Granted it is different, but I think it would look better w/o tint. Other than that, it's looking good. What of rims are they? 17" I think

 

yes the tint is different...just wanted to try it out...but i am takin the tint off cuz i got a ticket for it....the rims are 18 inch racing hart cp-035...thanks

as for the color... i hated it at first, but after awhile, you really begin to love it since it's so unique... i get daily compliments on it... (so don't listen to them Kaz)

LMAO, i havent bothered to clean my front wheels and have hlf of my hawk hp+'s on the fronts so it looks like i have black powdercoated fronts, i have a permanent big black scorch/burn mark over my 5zigen fireball, and man, your brakes OH so tiny!!!

clean ride...i have the exact same color and it really does grow on you after a while...the white rims look good with that color...you need exhaust though...somethin big...loud...to attract a little more attention...nice

 

hmm i dont like the tint.. i think it'd look better if you got a coat of titanium and then a light coat of regular tint... dunnoz..

other than that the car looks nice.. you might wanna color match or shave the moldings to make it look cleaner..

your front bumper looks a like it's saggin a bit, what happened?

 

ya i know it pisses me off....i think its from just over time and me hittin curbs when i pull in to a parkin spot...i need to get it fixed...this guy at a body shop said just take the bumper off and replace the messed up tabs with thick washers and new screws...the only prob is i dont know how to get the bumper off...anyone know how??

 

ugh, it's a big pain in the ***... i can scan in the Helms manual info tomorrow when i get my scanner back if you'd like... but like i said, it's a PITA...

i just took mine off it is a PITA but i could do it now in like 20 mins no prob take the grill thing off unbolt your headlights so there completely lose then you might have to take the headlight out of its holding bracket and then take the braket out AND THEN you can get the bumper off becuase there are mounts that hold it on under the headlights the headlight part is the PITA everything else is plug and play..

edit: OHH and when you put your headlights back in you can put them back in the brackets and "force" them back into where they fit on the car but put the bumper on first then the lights do not get lazy and not mount the light to the bracket in ANY area you will be mad later trust me. Ok now i know you can unmount the headlight from the bracket when taking it off but you well its easier if you do it that way and then mount them back together off the car and then "force" them back into place. i couldnt get them to mount together while inplace on the car cuz of that shitty spring thing on the bottom end. any questions ask me cuz i just did that crap like 3 days ago.

yeah i bet...the only part on my bumper i have to fix is right underneath my headlight and the part that wraps around...oh well the pics would be helpful..thanks tho

i got one i cant use cuz i got a 96 and they are diff
some *** on ebay sold it to me and said it was 96-97 but its not
its not painted and its black plastic OEM style never ever been used and been sitting in my bedroom forever

GTI's are some of the faster track cars do to their light setup. Your car is fine. I am not much on 18"s, for reasonable reasons, but its clean.
