I just changed my head gasket in my 94 teg, before i didnt have any heat but i was lead to believe it was because of my headgasket... now that its changed i still dont have any heat... sometimes if i leave the heat of for awhile and turn it on i can get like a little warm for like 2 seconds... but other than that it dosnt work
pretty sure the cable works u can hear a difference when u switch from ac to heat...
i drained my radiator and put new anti freeze in it and tried burpin it a few times :-/

your heater core is probably clogged, not a fun job.. sorry to hear that man
