Oil on clutch disc?
i had a bad oilpan leak, the gasket blew right where the tranny bolts to the engine, and when i removed the inspection plate on the bottom of the tranny, the back of the flywheel was covered in oil. I changed the gasket, not it dosent leak a drip.
But could this be the reason why my clutch is slipping, it used to be great, now it just went downhill.
Is it possible to clean the clutch and pressureplate? Or does the organic composits on the clutch disc ubsorb the oil?
Thanks.. Under normal driving a clutch shouldnt go from chirping 3rd to slipping like a pig in 3000km's.

It would cause it to slip, and most oils will be obsorbed by the organic material...the flywheel can be cleaned with brake parts cleaner...but ur disc is prolly done
sweet.
When i pull it, ill just upgrade i need something to handle the n20 anyways. Ill change out the rear seal on the engine and the input shaft seal on the tranny..
