car is vibrating excessively.
alright guys heres the situation:
-recently filled a mount with polyurethane sealant.
-new oil
- car hasnt been driven for about a month.
now the symptoms...
as soon as i turn the car on, the car literally becomes a giant vibrator. the whole car shakes. now i expected to feel the motor more with the polyurethan in the mount... but not this much. anyone got any ideas?

willing to bet you just turned your nice mushy motor mount into an almost solid motor mount</TD></TR></TABLE>
it does feel like the mounts r just welded on now... but i only did one mount.

the fact that you only did one mount verses all of them would be my guess. I did that w/ my es inserts and it made my car vibrate like crazy. no matter what if you do solid mounts of any kind your going to feel that vibration.
Vibrators work by spinning an unevenly weighted shaft attached to a motor...
Your car was just turned into a vibrator by you unevenly stiffening one mount...
Do the others and it'll go away... if you only do one mount it's going to shake the crap out of the remaining mounts.

I'm not sure if this is totally true,I have a prothane driver's side mount, jdmshit tranny mount and es inserts and my car vibrates alot too-i'm used to it though.

any aftermarket mount or polyurethane filled mount is going to cause you to feel the vibrating. Sometimes to gain performance you have to sacrafice comfort. If you want to get rid of it , the best thing to do would be to go get some stockers from the junkyard.

If you install the mounts in proper order and non of the cores are damaged underneith the inserts there shouldn't be a LOT of vibration from mounts... unless you're using a more aggressive mount compound...
I have ES inserts in mine and for lack of time I installed them 1 by 1... until they were all in, and even then they vibrated like a bastard.... once I followed the correct steps of tightening them in order there was NO problem at all...
if you have a non-stock mount then obviously it'll be stiffer than just inserts... but there still shouldn't be rediculous amounts of vibration.
And yes having one in will DESTROY the remaining mounts until they are all upgraded as well.
I blew the pass lower mount in 2 days of running just the driver front mount with insert...

its stiffer than the stock rubber inserts you have.
i have absolutely no wheel hop anymore. should i spin them... they'll spin, not buckle the whole front end of the car.
