I know there was an a2 in an EK hatch on full boost it was only running 13s flat... but boost+throttle=spinning in that case.

It was in SCC, it was a stock k20a2 with a full race kit i believe, it ran 13 flat on full boost. They had it in a road course challenge a month or so later and they blew the motor.

I personally have helped install two k20a2 motors into EK hatches, one went turbo and the other N/A. It's worth your money and time spent, those motors are sweet! Both EK's were fast as hell. ****, my brother in his 2003 EP3 Si (weighs ALOT more than EK's) with a K20a2 swap already hit 13.8 with just bolt-ons and street tires, I can't imagine an EK running any slower than that. It's worth your money and time spent.

Does the k20 fit into a coupe? Why dont I see many coupes with them? (Or even a small amount of them)

They will fit into EG//Ek coupes, not a lot around just because they weigh a little more. People with K20a2 swaps usually want to go all out, and they do it with lighter cars.

my brother and i just recently swapped a K20 into a 94 hatch, after runnin it on slicks wit no V-TEC wired, the car ran 14.7@96mph, then 2 weeks later, we went back and my brother ran a 13.4@106, and its pretty much stock except.

The cheapest place I found selling the long-block alone was $2900...they still go for $4-5k for a complete swap. On top of that you'll need Hondata (another whopping $700-900) and a custom made header (for whichever car you have) so the motor will seat. Then the mounts, axles and wiring harness (OBD-2 to OBD-1) and so on. It costs a bit but I think it's worth it all .

B/c Coupes are big, heavy, and ugly. Why waste a good motor on a shitty car.

Personally... I like my black Hx Coupe Ima mod the hell out of it in the summer

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by eg6ajk &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">
CX/DX hatchback = 2220-60
DX coupe= 2271-2320
EX coupe = 2450-2500
HX coupe = 2320-2400
Si Coupe = 2550-2600
and think usually the base models don't have anything, crappy brakes, no swaybars, small lighter wheels, once you upgrade you will be at the same weight or more
</TD></TR></TABLE>

Look at that... my HX Coupe isnt that much heavier then a CX/DX hatcback.
