Default Windshield wipers not working

Hey guys, i just bought a 94 VX hatch. The only problem is my windshield wipers dont work, niether do the squirters. I checked both fuses, those are not the problem.

Anyone have any helpful info? Im new to EG's so this is not my specialty, let me know.

unfortunately not batteries are ******* dead. It's RIGHT next to the windshield wiper arm switch thingy, and it's white. Not plugged into anything.

There's no plug to plug it in. The tip of the wire has a big one that is plugged in where it needs to be on the left side, and theres another plug thats where it needs to be (i assume). Man this is pissing me off...Im stumped. The worst thing is i have no experience with EG's
