2002 Civic EX Super charger kit????
First, I'm a Mustang Man. Don't boo me!!!!
I need some help...
My fiancé just bought a 2002 Civic EX 2DR. I'll have to check to see the engine package she got. I think I remember it being rated at 127hp
Is anyone offering a super charger kit for this year? I'm not familiar with this platform. Is it the same engine from the 2001?
What kind of boost would be good on a daily driver? She wants to be able to," get around traffic."
What's the boost to horsepower ratio.... 6LBS.= 80hp?
Do these kits come with injectors, fuel pump, etc?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
On behalf of a future import fanatic(my future wife),
thanks

What would be easier to instal?
What would work best with stock injectors, can it work with stock injectors?
What's a good web page that has some kits?
Thanks again guys
Currently, there is no supercharger or turbo available for the 7th gen. civic. HKS is working on a prototype turbo kit but a release date is not known. You could go with a custom turbo but then again, parts are going to be hard to find. Jackson Racing says its gonna be close to a year before they start on a supercharger. Your only other option for some hp is a n2o kit. If you decide to go with this, you must run a wet kit. The new civics have a returnless fuel system so dry kits are out of the question. Well, the Venom kit will work and its a dry kit but IMO, its waaay overpriced. visit http://www.2k1civic.com

the regulator is in the gas tank though. according to HKS, they have some device called a F-CON. supposedly this should take care of fuel management. i have no specifics on it so i'm unsure how it works exactly.
There is a company called Kenne Bell that is making a device that splices into your power wire for your fuel pump. You have a **** that can adjust the voltage going to the pump, thus increasing it speed and flow rate. It has a feature that automatically increases the voltage when boost is present so your pump doesn't work hard all the time. I know it works on domestics, I think it would work on imports too. It's called Boost A Pump. That way you can get away with stock injectors.
