pyrometer readings

I have an allmotor b20vtec. I installed a pyrometer probe just behind the stock o2 sensor in a itr Header. What kinds of temp should my pyrometer be reading?

You mean the O2 sensor under the motor past the oil pan by the flange? If so, thats way too far away for accurate readings.
