Hey guys, I posted earlier under car-ma, I forgot my password and couldn't access my email to get my new one. I'am going from Florida to Minnesota for X-mas and planned to stop at a friends place in Cincinnati on the way. I got to within a block of their apartment and the trans failed. It is an internal problem and the case is broken also. I'm looking for help in locating a trans and a possable location/garage space to do the work out of. I have most of the hand tools needed to complete the job and have peformed this work before. I just haven't tried it away from most of my tools and in the middle of a road trip before. If you or someone you know in the Cincinnati area could help out with either the part/trans and or a location for the work to take place, please let me know. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Vehicle info. 89 CRX Si, stock engine and 5spd. trans.

I am in Northern KY in the southern end of Greater Cincinnati and have several of those cars. I'd be happy to help if I can. I have one of those complete trannies on the floor of my garage with a slightly noisy bearing but otherwise functional. Not for sale as it was waiting to get some racing parts and go in the next racecar but we can figure something out in a pinch to get you to a permanent situation. There is an all Honda junk yard down by me as well that is sure to have a tranny. Plus H-Ter Mista Bone is in the Cinci area and known to be a tranny specialist.
