Default 90MPH + EP + Tree = Look Inside ....

This is the result of an EP after hitting a tree at 90MPH (Nextgear Car).

Look at how the seats twisted they actually came loose from the body of the car.

The engine was pushed back atleast a foot or more and went through the firewall.

Well the good news is nobody was injured and everyone had their seatbelts on also , the back seatbelt actually bent the back support and the other two seats twisted off the rails as you can see nothin really was salvage worthy.

Is that the same Nextgear that makes the intake manifold gaskets? That's a scary accident

I don't know if you're exaggerating about the 90 miles per hour.

If that impact really is the result of hitting a tree head on at 90, I can only say that I am impressed with how the car is built.

It looks like the passenger submarined. You sure he/she's OK?

Did the car have aftermarket motor mounts?

Wing isnt for sale and yes it was 85-90 MPH i must say these cars are well built.I was very impressed that it didnt collapse and the passenger was ok just a little sore.

crazy..noway in hell that car hit a tree doing 90.. I would say the damage inflicted reflects an impact speed of between 35-40 mph..Cars that hit stationary objects at 90 mph do not look like that

Maybe a smaller tree that would snap. But otherwise that car would have been split in half and even with seat belts on nobody might walk away. Impact that hard, 90, will snap your aorta like it was nothin. You'd blead to death internally before the medics even got there.

I wouldn't mind the taillights

Anywho to be serious, I was thinking the same. If that really was 90mph the ep held up very well.

However, those questioning it, just to play devil's advocate. Soemone mentioned their car looking the same after a much slower impact. I'm sure everyone here does know modern vehicles are designed with crumple zones to absorb impacts, the car may look totalled but it keeps the occupants in the cabin fairly safe.

Good to hear the occupants are alive and well

It's almost like the engine was used against the firewall to help absorb some of the impact.
Or something like that, it's late.
