Default 96-98 amber climate help

im changing the climate control to amber bubls. i already unplugged the two wire in back of the console already but a black cable is holding on to the console which prevents me from pulling it out. so far i took off the hazard light and defrost light and unplugged the cables behind the console. any help?

the black cable is your heater cable...just pop it off the unit

there are two bolts underneath that you have to lay on the floor and look back at it to see them. pain in the back

ok when you take off the console where are the bulbs located?

They are the 2 black wires that connect to the bottom (or top I forget which it is). You gotta turn them and then pull out.

Damn, I'm just gonna do a write-up when I redo mine. Damn paint is coming off.
