Default rear end is creaking a lot.

after putting in my suspension the rear end of the car tends to creak alot, which is understandable. anyone think that putting in a rear strut bar would help a bit with the creaking besides whatever itll help handling wise? maybe a trunk brace? thanks.

Is it coming from the hatch or the bottom of the car a rattle or a creak? If its creaking then yes go with the strut bar if its just your hatch then take electrical tape and wrap about the strips around the latch where it connects it will totally solve that problem.

I have a 4 door and I have the same problem. I think I need new rear shocks, which are going in soon. I should also note that my suspension is completly stock. Sorry to to ask q's on your thread, but anyone know what else this could be? I hope your problem gets solved dukers, let me know what fixed it when it's fixed. <<<so annoying

Mine creaked for a while, i found out it was the top coils of the springs rubbing agains each other. I figured this out by jacking the car up, soaking the coild with some spray lube and going for a drive, creak was gone. The upper strut bar did nothing for the creak. I finally took some wire loom and ran it over the top few coild of the spring and it has been quite for a couple of years now.

Could you describe this a bit better? My hatch creaks like hell, especially when it's cold out.
