Hondata auto/manual ecu question
I have a 01 LS that was an automatic and now it is a stick. My question is bc I was automatic, can I still use hondata s200b? I remmember reading that s200b doesn't support auto and only stick. My wires are still from an automatic so I'm afraid that even if I use a harness (obd2b to obd1) and connect it to an obd1 ecu it will not work.
I tried using the skunk2 harness (obd2b to obd1) to connect to a stock obd1 p75 and for some reason I can't rev pass 6K without feeling like I hit a wall. Can this be because the wires in my car are automatic and it is not same pin as a stick?
The skunk 2 harness also says it's only used for stick only?

Doen't matter if you were auto before, the auto tranny isn't there anymore... There is no pin for stick...
It says manual only because the wires are not there for auto tranny functionality...

thanks bro... do u know the reason for the stutter after 6K? I can use my auto ecu and rev to redline but when i convert it to obd1 ecu i can't get to redline without feeling like I hit a wall
I can make a few suggestions...
Make sure your base timing is correct...
Make sure your fuel pressure is correct...
Replace plugs and plug wires if it comes to that...
