Default question on SPOON 4-1 header

hey guys,

ive searched and couldnt find any information on this header. the reason i ask is because i can get a good deal for a 2nd hand one. the thing is i don't know much about this header - the most popular is the spoon 4-2-1 header. can anybody give any information on this header? and pics?

i have a stock b16a with a T1R b-pipe and spoon n1 muffler - is this header worth getting? its about $280

thanks.

If it isnt all dented up and scratched, $280 is a pretty good deal.

Have you ever seen the Spoon 4-2-1?

It looks like a 4-1 except at the very end...

Here look... http://www.inlinefour.com/spoon41exman.html

It's probably the same thing. $280 is silly cheap though. If it's real and not messed up.

before the header design, linked above (one piece 4-2-1 w/4-1 characteristics), spoon made a 2 piece true 4-2-1 header.

spoon 4-2-1 2 piece

Spoon 4-2-1 one piece

My advice is find out which one you are buying & the condition. used one piece 4-2-1 (hybrid design) can typically go for $500 or so...they cost about $850-$900 new. The 2 piece goes for much less & doesn't provide as much gains as the one piece.

In a header test (a while back) spoon 4-2-1 one piece provided the most gains underneath the curve one draw back is the (primaries on the) one piece hangs very low compared to other headers

lol 280 is dirt cheap i would buy it then sell it, then buy a bisimoto header, you will have more gains with it...
